Our clients wanted a Mediterranean oasis, and with the help of architect team Page Stewart, we delivered just that.
The single-storey home centres around a stone travertine-cladded courtyard and central atrium with a palatial, fully-tiled plunge pool. The simplistic landscaping is complemented by vibrant greenery, while the outdoor shower with brushed brass fittings and rustic potted plants is reminiscent of an Italian villa.
The modern Mediterranean façade commands attention with an oversized door framed by a bronze shroud and trims. Inside, the resort-style theme continues with elegant brass metal trims, French oak herringbone flooring, and chic bronze glass doors leading into the living area.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the home boasts energy-efficient features such as large thermally-broken windows and doors, solar panels, and under-slab heating. Reverse cycle heating and cooling with individual climate control for each room means comfort year-round.
Natural materials and well-appointed finishes extend the resort-style theme throughout the home. Picture limestone benchtops in the bathrooms, marble in the powder room, and quartzite in the kitchen and living area. Natural stone tiles add texture to the bathrooms, while brushed nickel and brass fittings enhance the polished look of each space. A statement in-situ basin crafted from New York marble sets off the powder room brilliantly.
